Since 2023, I'm responsible for editing the "Hidaka Explorer" series, a collaboration between Mitsubishi Motors and the Hidaka family.
The series follows the family as they travel across Brazil, exploring the unique flavors, hotels and myths of each region.
This was an incredible yet challenging project, with 7-8 hours of raw footage per episode.
My process involved narrowing it down to a 1-hour select, then further refining the content into a 12 to 18-minute final cut.

While the process was long and demanding, crafting stories through video editing is something I truly love,

Organization is my number one priority when editing a long-form video content or any content for that matter, but when you have so many hours of raw footage, if you don't organize your project first, you will be lost in the process later on, that's why I have so many steps before actually editing the video. First, I select the best parts of the material, reducing the 8h hour raw footage to a 1h footage, and then I turn this select into a 10 to 15min video.
